The Founders

Before The TravelPedia became what it is today, it started with two childhood friends who simply loved to travel.

Urja and Juhi have spent years exploring the world, sometimes together, often on their own, but always coming back with stories, experiences, and a deeper understanding of what makes a trip truly memorable.

What they realised along the way was simple.
No two people travel the same way. And the best trips are the ones that feel personal, not planned for the masses.

That shared belief is what brought The TravelPedia to life.

Urja Shah

For Urja, travel has never just been a hobby, it’s been a way of life.

From becoming a certified dive master to flying as a microlight pilot, her love for exploration goes far beyond the usual. **With having travelled to more than 40 countries,** she’s constantly chasing experiences that feel immersive, offbeat, and a little adventurous.

Long before The TravelPedia, she was always the planner, the one friends and family relied on to map out trips, find hidden gems, and figure out the smartest way to explore a destination.

She’s the kind of person who will deep dive into research, find places you wouldn’t come across easily, and piece together a journey that just flows.

Also, if there’s an ocean involved, she’s already sold.

If Urja builds the journey, Juhi makes sure it feels just right for you.

With over 10 years of experience in digital media and account management, she has a natural ability to understand people, what they’re saying, what they mean, and sometimes even what they haven’t said yet.

She’s the one who takes your ideas, your preferences, your random “I want this kind of vibe but I don’t know how to explain it” thoughts, and turns them into something clear, structured, and beautifully planned.

A traveller at heart, a complete foodie, and someone who will never say no to picking up something special from wherever she goes, Juhi brings a strong personal touch to every trip.

She makes sure your journey doesn’t just look good on paper, but actually feels right when you experience it.
